Movember is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer.

In this TED talk, Adam Garone (Co-Founder of Movember) introduces us to how the idea came (alcohol and 70s fashion involved in it) and how the movement spread to become the global phenomenon Movemeber is at the moment.

I had the pleasure to meet Mai-Li back in 2009 whilst she was doing her exchange at LSE. We kept in touch since then and have collaborated with her in several projects. Not many people is capable of converting an everyday problem into a winning product.

Oscar Niemeyer//Brazilian Architect//1972
"It is not the right angle that attracts me, nor the straight line, hard and inflexible, created by man. What attracts me is the free and sensual curve — the curve that I find in the mountains of my country, in the sinuous course of its rivers, in the body of the beloved woman"
From Oscar Niemeyer, (December 15, 1907 – December 5, 2012), Brazilian architect who is considered to be one of the key figures in the development of modern architecture.  His exploration of the aesthetic possibilities of reinforced concrete was highly influential in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
